We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially with arranging transportation for us. The location was great, close to everything we needed but still quiet and peaceful. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. We also appreciated the free WiFi, which worked perfectly throughout the property.
Nothing could have been better.

I had a great stay at this lodge! The location couldn't have been better - right in the center of town with plenty of restaurants and breakfast places nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving me great tips for hiking in the area. The room was comfortable and I had an extra large bed that provided one of the best nights of sleep I've had in a long time. Plus, the price was fantastic, offering excellent value for money.
The common areas were a bit drab, but honestly, who wants to stay indoors when the surrounding areas are so beautiful? , there were some ants in my room, but they only came out in the evening.

The rooms at Franschhoek Travellers Lodge are cozy and welcoming, with wooden floors and pastel walls that create a peaceful atmosphere. As a solo traveler, I instantly felt at home and relaxed in my room.
Personally, I found the living room at the lodge a bit cramped. It's not a dealbreaker by any means, but I would have preferred more space to unwind and socialize with other guests.

Loved the outdoor seating area with a fire-pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows while enjoying the garden. Also, the free WiFi was great for posting envy-inducing pictures of my adventure!
Waking up to the sound of other guests singing in their rooms was the highlight of my stay. Simply delightful.

I stayed at Travellers Lodge for a short trip and loved it. The affordable price was a great bonus and the check-in process was super easy. The facilities were decent and my room was neat and clean with a private bathroom. Despite being near a school, it was surprisingly quiet. The free WiFi worked perfectly throughout the property. The central location was ideal for exploring and the owner, Errol, and his team were friendly and helpful. I would definitely visit again.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Franschhoek Travellers Lodge are so cozy and inviting, with wooden floors and pastel walls. I felt like I was staying in a charming cottage, it was perfect for a relaxing getaway!
The only thing I didn't love was that not all rooms had private bathrooms. But hey, it's just my personal preference, and I know some people don't mind sharing.

The location of the lodge is great, close to the Literary Festival and with an attractive circular walk nearby. The kitchenette in the room makes it convenient for self-catering, saving money on dining out. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing an extra room with no extra charge.
The room lacks air conditioning or fans, making it uncomfortable on hot days.

The staff were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to help me when I wasn't feeling well. The location was perfect, just a short walk to shops and restaurants, and parking was available on site. The common area was cozy with free tea and coffee, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The wifi worked great and the receptionist recommended a fantastic pub for watching rugby. The facilities, although old, were clean and had all the necessary amenities. The friendly staff and convenient location, especially for the Wine Tram tour, made our stay unforgettable.

For the price, Franschhoek Travellers Lodge gave me great value and a comfortable room with a private bathroom. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the restaurants and the starting point for the Wine Trams. The staff were super accommodating and even let us check in early and check out late so we could explore more.
Hotel breakfast could use some improvement, maybe add more variety.

My recent stay at the accommodation right in the centre of town was perfect for my needs. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and basic, exactly what I was looking for in a budget-friendly option. The communal lounge downstairs and kitchenette upstairs were convenient additions, allowing me to store drinks and food easily. With plenty of restaurants and breakfast spots nearby, I had no trouble finding a delicious meal. Even though I didn't spend much time in the room, the bed provided a comfortable and restful sleep. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a simple and affordable place to stay.
